I love taking blogging courses because other successful bloggers teach you the exact systems that helped them grow their businesses. Blogging courses can save you HOURS and even MONTHS of painful, frustrating Googling, and trying to piece together free information.
I’ve taken so many blogging courses since I started my blogging journey, and I truly don’t know where I would be without them!
Below, I’ve compiled a list of the absolute best ones that I recommend for anyone starting a blog (seriously – I’ve taken A LOT of courses so trust me on this one!)
Obviously, you don’t need to take ALL of these courses, but I included the full list of my favorites so you can pick and choose the ones that are right for you in your journey.
1. Perfecting Blogging – By Sophia Lee
Perfecting Blogging is the best course for absolute beginners. By Sophia Lee is a 7-figure earning blog, and in this course, Sophia really breaks down all the foundational things you need to know when starting a blog. She includes the exact techniques that she used when growing her own blog and the steps you need to take in order to monetize your blog as quickly as possible.
2. Pinterest Traffic Avalanche – Create and Go
This is the BEST course to learn everything you need to know about Pinterest. This course will teach you everything from how to set up your business account, optimize for SEO, automate your pins, review analytics, create promoted campaigns, and much more. Although this course is a bit on the pricier side, it is completely worth it if you want Pinterest to be the main source of traffic for your blog.
3. Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing – Michelle from Making Sense of Cents
This course was created by Michelle Schroeder-Gardner, who is an OG blogging GENIUS. This course is for you if you want to start monetizing your blog but do not have any of your own paid products yet. Michelle’s course will teach you how to make money while you sleep through affiliate marketing.
4. Perfecting Email – By Sophia Lee
This is the best course I’ve taken to date! I freaking loved this course. Sophia and her team really broke down all the nitty-gritty strategies that go into building, maintaining, and monetizing your email list.
(Note, you should not take the Perfecting Email course if you haven’t setup your website yet. When you’re starting out your blog, there are other important things that you should probably focus on first. But when you’re ready to turn your attention to building your email list, this will be the course for you!)
5. Dream Plan Do w/ ClickUp
Alright, to be completely honest, I wasn’t totally sold on this course when I first purchased it. I wasn’t sure if I really needed it. And OMG was I wrong – this course changed my life and the way I approach business. I know that sounds dramatic, but trust me. ClickUp is an incredibly powerful project management tool. You may think you don’t need it as a beginner, but I honestly think it’s the most helpful when you’re starting out. This course taught me how to get organized and laser focused on my mission and goals. I can’t recommend it enough!
